obstacle course and cycling is cool
at the park or around main roads we all wear helmets. but on the roads by my home, we dont. we live in the country and there is almost no traffic most of the day. police are seldom seen here. good people here very little crime.
well as for ur son’s case… that’s just messed up.
he has the freedom of expression and as long as it’s appropriate (which long hair is), he should not get in any sort of trouble…
but as for the helmet things, it’s like seat belts in a car… it’s for our own saftey.
anyways, that’s just my own opinion.
I think you have a case for the ACLU if they suspend him. That sucks though.
some laws are so dumb. its just the gov’t poking their nose in our business.
my son’s school keeps wanting to suspend him because his hair is long. its my choice to allow MY son to wear his hair long. schools (public gov’t schools) are only there to EDUCATE.
helmets should be our choice (or parents choice for the kids).

i like that myself. i only use a helmet when i am riding in an area with lots of traffic. otherwise who needs it? (maybe young children)
